Cuuuute! but i got an allergy for cats... urgghhhh itchy!

then we went off to a little outing to YOKOHAMA, the big city next to Kawasaki.

there is an open harbor-frontage, so it feels much more spacious and airy than neighbouring Tokyo area. i Love the city's international heritage, and a cosmopolitan flavor to the place with its scattering of Western-style buildings, Chinese temples and restaurant, and its international community...

then, we walked and headed to the China town area to grab some lunch. we were starrrving!

we passed by about hundred of Chinese restaurants...we couldn't decide which restaurant would give us the best deal...i mean, the side streets are filled with restaurants! how are we supposed to know which one's the best of all of those!!?!?!

So, i guess we looked kinda-sorta "lost"...one little old lady approached us and asked us, "you looking for a good restaurant for lunch???"

we said, "yes! any suggestion???"

misterious lady just told us, "come. come follow me..."

we looked at each other and just followed her, just like she told us to...

don't worry, we didn't get kidnapped or hurt or anything.

the mysterious lady took us to a big, nice looking restaurant near by, and there, we had the BEST chinese meal everrrrr! i mean, i've been to chinese restaurant so many times, but i can swear this restaurat was Authentic! haha, wel,  i mean, the lunch special was exactly 1000yen each ($11), and it came with soup, side dishes, rice, and desert! YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

and "one thing led to another," (haha) before we knew it, we were having a nice 'cocktail hour' with this kind stranger....RANDOM!! i mean, this is by Far the most random thing i've ever done in my life! following a stranger, having lunch with her, her buysing us drinks!!?? ....hmmm....

i mean, it's not like we decided to accept the offer after we'd gotten know her pretty well enough to say that she wasn't a criminal or anything... mmmmmmm chinese plum wine, i love it!

after a nice lunch followed by a nice drink, she offered to take us around and give us a little tour of Yokohama...weird, random...hmmm...but we didn't know what else to do but just follow her as she told us to.  i'm guessing, she was either, just super duper friendly and nice, or, just simply pushy??? i dunno....but she did do a great job of showing us around! thanks to her!

being not so sure about this friendly stranger, i just decided to take a picture with her doing the typical japanese hand sign..."Peace!!" v(^-^) uhh, can you tell my cheeks are a little bit rosy??? yikes!

thennn, after spending some time doing window shopping in the fashion street of Motomachi,  which used to be foreigners residential area, she took us to Yamashita Park...the park has a great view of ships sailing in and out of the harbor and seagulls flying overhead, hmmm...i must say, it's a PERFECT date spot for couples...

WELL, the interesting thing was, that ACCORDING TO HER, her family is some kind of court noble, and she's from a traditional upper-class society...i don't know how much of her story is true, but it was just faScinating to hear her stories! she was telling us how she used to go out nice, expensive, EXCLUSIVE restaurants and bars in Tokyo, and how she used to shop at these upscale department stores, and how she used to enjoy taking a drive in her FERRARI. Uhhhh.....*shrug* speechless. dunno what to say. but it's definitely an interesting (random) story, right!?!?!? i actually really enjoyed her company! hahaha...
